Hello Again! (Video game edition.)
Sorry for the delay, but school and UC applications got the best of me. Anywho, I've taken up another game: DDO. Short for Dungeons and Dragons Online, DDO is a free to play (commonly abbreviated f2p) MMO-RPG with premium content (stuff you pay for "as you go" or via monthly subscription fee). There are a couple things I like about DDO. It's character creation is relatively close to PnP (pen and paper) Dungeon and Dragons, which I prefer. Also, you can own all the content of the game without paying a cent. In DDO, after completing a quest, you get a certain amount of "favor" from the patron who awarded you the quest in the first place. Once you've accumulated a certain amount of favor, you're given Turbine points which can be spent in the DDO Store, where you can purchase premium adventure packs. That being said, DDO lacks in the "end game" area (once you reach max level). There are 6 or so raids that lvl 20s do, and of those 6 or so, maybe 3 are done frequently. That being said, DDO is a lot of fun for being free and a good start for anyone who wants to get into MMO-RPGs.

Treasure Island
Sorry for the lack of updates, guys, I was out for the weekend. I went to San Francisco last weekend for Treasure Island. It was epic. Despite the weather, it was an outstanding time. It was a wonderful mix of music, food, and interesting people. If you can make it, I highly suggest you go.

Kim Jong-un
Kim Jong-il is now in his late 60's, may of had a stroke a few years ago, and is 90% whiskey. North Korea needs some change. To bring about this change is a new refreshing leader that no one has heard of, has no experience, is in his mid twenties, and is Kim Jong-il's son. And that's pretty much what we know. Things are looking good.

iOS 4.1 Jailbreak Part Two: The Unsupported
Yesterday I posted about a jailbreak for iOS 4.1. At the time, I hadn't done it (was midway through updating to 4.1) but now I've gotten things up and running. Some users are reporting that apps are missing or that they only appear as white icons after jailbreaking; I didn't experience this. If you do, however, try rebooting your phone.
The jailbreak itself hasn't caused me any problems. I've had no randome reboots, or freezes, or random bugs; jailbreak apps (ones found in Cydia) are a different story. Many of my favorite apps are not yet supported for 4.1. biteSMS and FolderEnhancer are two of the most useful apps I used in 4.0.1 but sadly, they are not iOS 4.1 ready. If you are a user who enjoys using many Cydia apps, I'd wait a few more weeks before updating to 4.1 to give devs some extra time to catch up.
